As we approach the 50th anniversary of the death of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we pause to commemorate a life and legacy of Biblical preaching, social justice, and civil liberty.
American Bible Society and local congregations, nationwide, are celebrating the profound influence the Bible had in the life and work of Dr. King through a multi-pronged movement of local and national dialogue on Dr. King's impact on our nation's past, present, and future.
Sign up and take part in pre-event online Scripture devotionals from January 15th to April 4th. Additionally, Participate in the essay and spoken-word competition for high school juniors and seniors ($24,000 total prizes), open from January 15th through March 15th. Click here for details.
